Engagement & pre-wedding
Before the day: a walk through Lisbon or the dunes, and photos for the invitations.
An engagement or pre-wedding session is a walk with a photographer before the day: an hour or two in a place you love, and photographs for the invitations or the walls.
It is also the best way to meet your photographer before the wedding — to see how they work, and to get used to the camera.
Good to know
Pick a place with a story
Where you met, where you got engaged, or a city you both love. Lisbon’s streets and the dunes of Comporta are favourites.
Wear what you would wear
Clothes you feel like yourselves in photograph better than costumes. Two outfits are plenty.
Often part of a package
Some wedding packages include an engagement session — look for it in the package before booking one on its own.
