Lens & Vows is a marketplace of wedding photographers in Portugal — for couples flying in, and for couples marrying at home.
Why we started
Finding the photographer shouldn’t be the hard part
Looking for a wedding photographer usually means scrolling through directories of near-identical highlight reels, writing to a dozen people and waiting days to hear who is even free on your date.
We wanted the opposite. Tell us the place and the date, see straight away who is free and fits, look through their whole weddings, and book with your money protected until your photographs arrive.
What we believe
Whole weddings, not highlight reels
We ask every photographer for three complete weddings before we approve them, and that is what you look through.
Free means free
Photographers keep their calendars with us. A date that shows as free is one you can actually book.
One price: the photographer’s
You pay what the photographer charges. Our commission comes out of the deposit — never added on top.
Your money waits for your photos
Pay the balance through us and it reaches the photographer only after you accept your gallery.
Portugal first
One country, done properly
Seven regions, from Lisbon and Sintra to the Douro, Comporta, the Alentejo, the Algarve, Madeira and the Azores — in English and Portuguese, for couples travelling in and couples from here.
Other countries will follow, as new sections of the same site. Until then, Portugal has our full attention.
For photographers
Paid only when you are booked
No fee to join and no monthly bill. Photographers keep their own prices and their own style; we earn a commission only when a couple books, out of the deposit.
