Hi, I’m Sophie, a photographer originally from Berlin, now living in Costa da Caparica, Portugal.
I studied film and photography and have always been interested in the way we see the world, the stories we tell, and the connections we make with each other.
My approach to photography is a mix of documentary and art. I love capturing things as they happen, without too much posing or planning, while also playing with light, movement and perspective.
For me, the most beautiful photographs are often the ones you didn’t plan. A look between two people, a spontaneous laugh, a little moment with your family, or the way everything comes together when you least expect it.
When I photograph a wedding, I want you to enjoy your day and be present with the people around you. I’ll capture what happens naturally, the big moments and all the little things in between, creating images that tell the story of your day in a way that feels like you.
I want you to be able to look at your photographs years from now and remember not only how everything looked, but how it felt to be there.

Sophie took photos at our wedding and when our daughter was born. She just has a pleasant and non-intrusive way of taking authentic pictures that don't look posed and that was exactly what we wanted most. Among other beautiful pictures of us and the scenery, she took great character pictures of the guests at our wedding, that still make us smile. While shooting with our newborn daughter, Sophie captured the first sweet facial expressions, the ones you hope to never forget! Thank you very much, dear Sophie!
