The full day, from getting ready to the dancefloor, with me and two other colleagues shooting photo and film. Adds drone footage, a longer film and a complimentary pre-wedding shoot with me. I am Ian — a vienna-based photographer and videographer. I have photographed and filmed weddings across Austria and abroad: Palais Niederösterreich, Schloss Grafenegg and Schloss Halbturn, but also Trieste, Basel, Abu Dhabi and Phuket.
What makes me different is simple: I both shoot photo and film. With a second hybrid shooter, you can have two perspectives in stills and motion. No separate video crew following you around, no second team to brief, no two invoices to reconcile. Two people, both cameras — which means fewer strangers in your day and one consistent look across everything you receive.
My style is documentary with an editorial finish. I stay out of the way for the real moments and step in only where it counts: light, framing, and the handful of portraits you will actually put on a wall. No stiff posing, no shot-list theatre.
I work in English, German and Tagalog. Many of my couples come from abroad, and I have photographed everything from a small civil ceremony to multi-day celebrations with their own rituals and running order — so I know when to be ready and when to step back, without needing everything explained twice. I am also used to guiding people who are marrying in a city they do not know yet: locations, realistic timings, and the quiet corners of Vienna that photograph best in the hour before sunset.

For our wedding, nothing mattered more to us than capturing the special moments and emotions forever. So naturally we had pretty high expectations of our photographers and videographers – and finding them was probably one of the biggest strokes of luck in our wedding. ❤️ On the day itself, we already felt incredibly comfortable with the two of them. They're super friendly, warm-hearted and at the same time absolutely professional. You can tell right away that they know 100% what they're doing, and they still manage to capture the moments completely naturally, without anything feeling posed. At first we even thought we didn't really need a video and were only looking for a photography team. Today we can say: we needed this video!!!🥹 The video truly exceeded our expectations. Watching it feels like living our wedding day all over again – with all the emotions, the voices and the little moments that we ourselves didn't even consciously take in on the day. And the photos turned out simply beautiful too, capturing our day exactly the way we want to remember it. We are incredibly grateful that the two of them were by our side at our wedding and captured these special memories for us. We would choose them again any time and recommend them with all our hearts. ❤️

Für unsere Hochzeit war uns nichts wichtiger, als die besonderen Momente und Emotionen für immer festzuhalten. Dementsprechend hatten wir auch ziemlich hohe Ansprüche an unsere Foto- und Videografen – und sie zu finden, war wohl einer der größten Glücksfälle unserer Hochzeit. ❤️ Schon am Tag selbst haben wir uns mit den beiden unglaublich wohlgefühlt. Sie sind super sympathisch, herzlich und gleichzeitig absolut professionell. Man merkt sofort, dass sie zu 100 % wissen, was sie tun, und dabei schaffen sie es, die Momente ganz natürlich einzufangen, ohne dass sich irgendetwas gestellt anfühlt. Ursprünglich dachten wir sogar, dass wir eigentlich kein Video brauchen und haben nur nach einem Fotografen-Team gesucht. Heute können wir sagen: Wir brauchten dieses Video!!!🥹 Das Video hat unsere Erwartungen wirklich übertroffen. Beim Anschauen fühlt es sich an, als würden wir unseren Hochzeitstag noch einmal erleben – mit all den Emotionen, den Stimmen und den kleinen Momenten, die wir selbst an diesem Tag gar nicht alle bewusst wahrgenommen haben. Und auch die Fotos sind einfach wunderschön geworden und fangen unseren Tag genauso ein, wie wir ihn in Erinnerung behalten möchten. Wir sind unglaublich dankbar, dass die beiden unsere Hochzeit begleitet und diese besonderen Erinnerungen für uns festgehalten haben. Ian and Kiran are simply two incredibly likeable, dedicated and at the same time totally professional guys. You can tell right away that they know exactly what they're doing – and above all, that they do their job with real passion. Ian and Kiran were with us at our wedding from the very first minute and captured so many special moments. When we saw the result, we were able to experience the whole day all over again (as the bride and groom you take in so little of it anyway) – simply such a beautiful feeling.
