My professional story begins in 1998, when I received a Leica film camera as a gift. From that moment, I started studying photography, first self-taught and, in 2004, as a student at one of the most renowned photography academies in Milan. Enriched by this experience, I started working professionally, specializing in wedding photography and portraiture, particularly in the reportage technique.

When I opened my photography studio in Lecce, my work was focused on creating prints of the beautiful Salento landscapes through my film Leica.

The landscape photos I used to create were full of color and intensity, but I felt something was missing: people and their emotions. That's why, for the past twenty years, I've been capturing unique and unrepeatable moments through couple and wedding reportage.

Traveling is my passion. Luckily, my work often takes me not only around Puglia but also to other regions of Italy, where I'm always happy to discover different places, cultures, and traditions.

    Perfect photos and car for our wedding Luigi was our photographer on our wedding day. We chose Luigi right from the first call: he was reliable, professional, open to our requests and patient. Together we chose the package that suited us, the type of album and the schedule for the day. Luigi also rents out vintage cars and found us a gorgeous car for the day. Everything was perfect: we had asked for spontaneous, simple photos that would capture our roots (Sicily + Apulia). Luigi scouted the area around the ceremony for us to find a secluded trullo, an expanse of olive trees, a castle by the sea.. On the day he already knew where to take us, and in no time he took natural, carefree photos. A few months after the wedding he promptly sent us the gallery, the edited photos and the album. It was an excellent choice; I recommend him for his professionalism, kindness and helpfulness.

    Foto e auto per il nostro matrimonio perfette Luigi è stato il nostro fotografo il giorno del nostro matrimonio. Abbiamo scelto Luigi già dalla prima chiamata: è stato serio, professionale, aperto alle nostre richieste e paziente. Abbiamo scelto insieme la formula che facesse al caso nostro, il tipo di album e gli orari della giornata. Luigi noleggia anche auto d’epoca e ci ha procurato una splendida auto per quel giorno. È stato tutto perfetto, avevamo chiesto delle foto spontanee, semplici, che racchiudessero le nostre origini (Sicilia+ Puglia). Luigi ha girato per noi nelle zone della cerimonia per trovare un trullo riservato, una distesa di ulivi, un castello sul mare.. Quel giorno sapeva già dove accompagnarci e in poco tempo ha fatto delle foto naturali e spensierate. Dopo qualche mese dal matrimonio ci ha subito inviato la galleria, le foto elaborate e l’album. È stata un’ottima scelta, lo consiglio per la sua professionalità, gentilezza e disponibilità.

    The best choice Luigi is a great professional, capable of producing real masterpieces. Our wedding took place in very bad weather, with rain, wind and rough seas, yet thanks to Luigi it turned out to be a moving day. Between the improvising and all our plans being turned upside down, a beautiful spontaneity came through in the photos in the end. Luigi knows how to capture the best of every moment. He is a person of great enthusiasm who puts you at ease straight away. Saying he's brilliant still doesn't do justice to the quality of his work and to who he is.     An exceptional experience. We turned to Luigi for our wedding, and the results were amazing. His passion, his attention to detail and his ability to put people at ease helped even further to make our experience a positive one. Luigi had an eye for shots that turned out simply poetic. The communication before and after the shoot was also something I appreciated enormously. We absolutely recommend Luigi's studio. It was our first time and we were nervous and excited, but Luigi and his staff were brilliant at making us feel at ease right from the start. From the very first introductory phone call he managed to convey professionalism, empathy and calm. During the shoot the atmosphere was professional but relaxed and fun, so I'd also recommend him to people who are a bit shy. We were really happy with the final result: spectacular photos and video, and fast delivery. Luigi and his staff caught all the moments that mattered to us and told the story of our wedding exactly the way we wanted.
