## In their words

I'm Daniel, a wedding photographer from Feldkirch in Vorarlberg, the westernmost corner of Austria, between Lake Constance, Liechtenstein and Switzerland. I photograph whole days: eight hours from getting ready to the party, at least 600 photos, the first ones a few days after the wedding and all of them within two weeks.

Most of my couples had never stood in front of a professional camera. For the few posed portraits I guide you calmly – after a few frames most couples forget about me. The rest of the day I stay in the background. Group photos go quickly: one couple told me their guests barely noticed. Rain is no reason to cancel; I know where the light is good in the mountains here, and where to go when the weather turns.

Elopements, just the two of you, I love to photograph on weekdays in the mountains.
