## In their words

I’m Alberto Moncada, a photographer and diving guide born in Syracuse in 1979. My passion for photography began when I was young, and over the years it became my profession. I studied photography at the Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan, where I started collaborating with the photographer Giovanni Chiaramonte.

In 2005 I was selected to photograph Casa Luis Barragán in Mexico, on the occasion of the Entrez Lentement exhibition for the Salone del Mobile in Milan. In 2010 I founded Studio Mooz in Syracuse, Sicily, together with Giovanni Ferraro.

Since 2013 I have been shooting the Prada and Miu Miu fashion shows, the result of a long-term collaboration with OMA – Rem Koolhaas. In 2014 my work was chosen for the cover of Abitare, celebrating its relaunch with issue 538. My photographs have been published in international magazines and newspapers including Abitare, Interni, Lotus, Domus, Frame, Octagon, AD, Elle Decor, Wallpaper, Casamica, Case d’abitare, Fantastic Man and ArtReview.

I live and work between Milan and Syracuse, and in recent years I have also taught at two design academies in Sicily.

How I work on your wedding day
I tell stories of emotions with simplicity and elegance. I don’t direct you and I don’t ask you to pose: I photograph the natural beauty of the two of you as the day unfolds. I work together with a second professional photographer, and aerial photos are included in every package.

What you can expect
You can choose between a 6-hour and a 10-hour coverage, with 300 to 700 high-resolution photos depending on the package. If you want something more, I also offer a welcome dinner the day before the wedding and a portrait session of the couple at our studio, before or after the wedding. Wedding albums for the couple and mini albums for the parents are available, and so is fast delivery within 10 days.
